you lukas a trial date has been set for an akron man accused of killing his mother nearly two years ago. johnathan neunaber's court date is scheduled d for may 10th. just last month, a plymouth county judge ruled neunaber was mentally competent to stand trial for the killing of esther neunaber, back in july of 20- 14. lukas: also set for court is a storm lake man facing kidnapping charges the trial for scott banks has been set to begin on may 17th. he's accused of keeping the iowa human services department from taking custody of his children. scott entered a plea of not guilty momoay, court documents indicate banks kept his two children from the department in december and lied under oath the same day. lukas let's check in with for the weather. matt good morning siouxland. blizzard warnings blanket the area until early wednesday morning. the radar displays heavy snow dropping throughout much of siouxland. we've got visibilities being rapidly reduced and the wind is getting cranked up from the north and northeast near 2 2miles per

her funeral just hours away. >> everybody is going to tell you they're going to miss her smile b becausehe had somome kind of, you know, magic. i will miss her potential. >> reporter: two virginia tech students david eisenhauer and natalie keeps behind bars facing charges for her death. >> one in five people don't have jobs. >> reporter: this video on youtube belonging to a student name natalie keepers may be giving us a glimpse at the now 19-year-old more than a year before the alleged murder. authorities say eisenhauer, a former member of the track team was abusing his relationship with the s seventh grade girl he chatted with on a message,kik, his teammates stunned by the charges. one iting, none of this had to happen y yet i'm left here wonding why it did. gaige kern posting this open letter to his friend. i hate what y y've done but i don't hate you. three lives are now wasted. nicole's family say she vanished last tuesday night.

calling the 21st century's bonnie and clyde. watch as blake fitzgerald and brittany nicole harper rob a gas station in georgia, fce thehe cashier into an suv then drop her off at a nearby exit. the incident just one in a series of armed robberies the couple is believed to have committed throughout the southeast over the last week. police say it began at this hotel in tuscaloosa, alabama, where they took the hotel clerk hostage. >> i just wanted to get them out of the hotel as quickly as possible >> reporter: then they were off to hoover, alabama whe they tried to carjack the manager of a mcdonald's. >> i'm blessed. i could have been dead. >> reporter: the couple both with long arrest records seemed to have been mocking law enforcement in recent days, brittany posting, i wasn't planning on going for a run today but those cops came out of nowhere. friends begging the couple to turn themselves in. this is so crazy, writes one of brittany's friends.
